In an effort to raise awareness about the issues of teen pregnancy and teen childbearing in Alabama communities the Campaign has established collaborative relationships with the Alabama Department of Human Resources, Alabama Department of Children’s Affairs, Alabama Department of Public Health and the Alabama Department of Education. Additionally, the Campaign has identified other state and local organizations with missions related to these issues.

These collaborative relationships provide a network for the Campaign to 1) distribute teen pregnancy resources, 2) announce information on training opportunities, 3) determine needs of local communities and design strategies to assist the communities, 4) gather information and highlight community programs that have been implemented to address the issues of teen pregnancy and teen childbearing, 5) conduct workshops and deliver presentations relevant to the specific needs of communities, 6) identify financial resources/grant opportunities that may be available to community organizations.
